The loss of a loved one is the beginning of a new life stage. Communication and the feeling of being needed cannot be returned. But we can live on. This impetus to the new is a sick and untimely.
This is a rebirth in a new status, but with an old experience.
I drew this graphic in preparation for my father's death.
Kira Shilina is a visual artist. She graduated from the Nizhny Novgorod Art College with a degree in artist-teacher, since 2013 she has been participating in various art exhibitions.
As an artist, she evokes a deep sense of unity with all living beings through associations with flora, reminding us of human nature.
Her watercolor technique a la prima is performative in its execution. In tandem or in opposition to water, paints, pencils and experimental materials.
