Winter sun

The work was created on the Kuril island Paramushir in plein-air conditions. The uniqueness of the work is that the oil contains ash from the Kuril volcano Ebeko, as there is an active active volcano near the city of Severo-Kurilsk, spewing ash columns several times a day. During the plein air, the ashes were carried by the wind, fell into the paint and onto the painting. This is the miracle. A miracle that nature has created just before Christmas.
